My question is, prior to brexit, were the infrastucture, factories and farms assisted by the government to boost production to ensure everything will be self sustainable? In countries like Singapore, Qatar and China, the government ensures that infrasturcture and financing is available for business to expand, grow and produce on a scale that is able to meet the demands of its people. It seems in this case britain / uk has two option, either ramp up and build all the factories in every single product needed to self sustain, or do what qatar did during the embargo from saudi and fly everything in.
